The nine-hole course straddles the divide between the Scottish Lowlands and the Highlands, providing beautiful views over Loch Lomond to the west and Ben Lomon to the north; you won’t find a golf course in Scotland which feels as innately Scottish as the one at Carrick. The course has been host to both the Ladies Scottish Open and the PGA Cup, which demonstrates just how versatile a course it is, proving a challenge for even professional golfers playing at the highest level in the world today. The course is excellently maintained, and guarantees a wonderful day out on the green. There’s also a practice facility at the course, so you can warm up before heading out for the day to try your hand on the sloping fairways and bunkers of this very Scottish golf course.

Well maintained but a little wet when we played. Had an amazing day out but the winds on the day were ridiculous never has to hit an 8 iron for 150 yards. Loved the place :) Tip: if you're going through Helensburgh, stop at the Wee Kelp for a quick lunch. Amazing chippy with a wide selection of fresh fish.
